I'll update this occasionally as delegate counts change. 2,025 are needed to win the nomination.
As of May 8, 2008. Clinton Pledged-1419 SD-266 = 1685 Obama Pledged-1588 SD-258 = 1846 *according to CNN's election center.

Hi Robert!
Thank you for keeping us up to date. This is the first time I have become engaged in a presidential campaign, with donations, etc. I have a question about our state delegates, David Boren and Brad Henry. Do we know if they are already pledged? Will it do any good to write them letters encouraging them to cast their delegate votes for Obama?
Thanks much and keep up the good work!
Trish Lawler

Henry hasn't endorse anyone so far and there IS a campaign to get him to do so, although it looks like he's staying out. Since Clinton won Oklahoma, probably our best bet is to keep him FROM endorsing her. Other than Henry, we also have: Ivan Holmes Jim Frasier (DNC members) who haven't endorsed. I'm not finding anything saying Boren is a super delegate, although as a former Senator, I would think he is. An endorsement from him would be nice either way though. I did see an article from Rep Dan Boren saying he wouldn't endorse anyone unless it was David Boren running. But yeah, I think we could organize a letter campaign once we identify possible endorsements in the state. I'll check tonight or tomorrow and post more info. (I'm going to a friend's play production tonight.) A nice place to check on Super Delegates is: http://demconwatch.blogspot.com/2008/01/superdelegates-who-havent-endorsed.html

Beyond the requirement for avatars and some member labels, does the post count amount to anything besides notches on our BE guns?:-?

YEAH that would be good. Ive seen some other forums go from cool to pathetic all because the only thing anybody ever cared about was their post count. It will also let new members feel less "newbish"

I cut cheese. Um.....that sounds wrong, somehow.
Really, though, I think it counts as a cut if you want it to count as a cut. You get to make your own cutting rules.

My post count usually means someone will make some intimidating remark, usually because they feel intimidated by the count.
I couldnt care less about the post count or the intimidating remarks.

With all due respect, this post count thing, funny as it may be for some is a bit of pain in the ___ for casual Gaijinpot users who actually want to use the forum. Give it a rest guys,

I am wondering if there is a way to increase the ticket count in a ranked 2142 server. We are running 32 players on a 16 player map and the ticket count is at 100 and the rounds are insanely short when the server is full. Ive tried increasing the ticket count in the 2142cc but it always reverts back to 100. Is this because the server is ranked or is there a way to do this?

Ya, you most likely have a Ranked server as you cannot adjust the ticket count. Even tho you do make the change and it seems to take the server will always revert back to 100. That change can only be made on an Unranked server.

If I remember correctly, last year on JU there were a few probs with post count numbers. We dont need them do we? It is one less thing for trolls to try and fill up storage with. Just a suggestion. Brian
